Adding the WSG badge to your website

Every member links back to the Widget Software Group from their website. It takes about five minutes.

The requirement

Every member must display the Widget Software Group badge, linked to this website, on their public website within 30 days of being approved. The badge tells your visitors that you're part of a community of pilot-builders, and the link helps other members' work get discovered.

  • ✓ Place it on your main website or your app's website (the footer or an "About" page is perfect).
  • ✓ The badge must link to https://widgetsoftware.org.
  • ✓ It must be publicly visible, with no login required.
  • ✓ Keep it up for as long as you're a member.

If the badge isn't verified within 30 days, your profile and properties are hidden from the public site until it is. Nothing is deleted, and everything reappears as soon as the badge is verified.

Step 2: Add it to your website

Paste the HTML where you want the badge to appear. Common spots and platforms:

Custom HTML / static sites

Paste the snippet into your footer template (e.g. footer.html, _Layout.cshtml, or your React/Vue footer component; in JSX, change the attributes to rel="noopener" and self-close the <img />).

WordPress

Appearance → Widgets (or the Site Editor footer) → add a Custom HTML block → paste the snippet → Update.

Squarespace

Edit your footer → add a Code block → paste the snippet → Save.

Wix

Add → Embed Code → Embed HTML → paste the snippet, and place it in your footer so it shows on all pages.

Webflow, Framer, Carrd, Shopify

Use the platform's Embed / Custom code element in your footer and paste the snippet.

GitHub README or docs site

Only if a README is your project's main website. Use Markdown:

A plain text link is acceptable when an image won't fit your design:

Step 3: Tell us where it is

Log in and open Dashboard → WSG badge, then submit the URL of the page where the badge appears. An admin checks that the badge and link are live and marks your membership as verified.

Usage rules

  • Don't alter the badge's colors, proportions, or wording. Resizing proportionally is fine (minimum 160px wide for the full badges).
  • Don't imply that WSG or Delta Air Lines endorses or certifies your product.
  • Only current members may display the badge. Please remove it if you leave the group.
