Pilots who build
The Widget Software Group is a community of Delta Air Lines pilots who create software.
Pilots are problem-solvers by trade. Between trips, on long layovers, and during reserve days, many Delta pilots design and build software: tools to make the job easier, and products that have nothing to do with aviation at all.
The Widget Software Group (WSG) gives that work a home. We showcase apps, websites, and tools built by Delta pilots so that fellow pilots can find useful tools, and so that everyone can see what this group creates.
Two kinds of properties
- Built for Delta pilots. Software made specifically for the people who fly for Delta: scheduling, pay, training, commuting, and more.
- Built by pilots, for everyone. Apps and products made by Delta pilots for any audience, from games and fitness to business tools.
How membership works
Membership is free and open to current and retired Delta pilots who build software. An admin verifies each applicant. Once approved, members create a profile, list their properties, and add the WSG badge to their own website within 30 days, which helps visitors discover the rest of the group.
Independence
WSG is an independent, volunteer-run community. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Delta Air Lines, Inc. or the Air Line Pilots Association. Listed properties are the independent work of their creators and are not official Delta tools. Always follow official company guidance and publications.
